Photo sessions
Many of you need new headshots and other photos for official and campaign literature. I have arranged for a professional photographer to take posed photographs with the Capitol, the House or Senate chamber, and traditional headshots, depending on your needs.

I have negotiated a low price to cover the multi-site sitting fee and your choice of high-resolution photos from the shoot. Please contact me to schedule your time.

VoteSharp Phase II Launch
Your favorite constituent communications web application has gone GPS and is ready for your campaign! Here’s what you’ll see in Phase II:

1. Updated voter list with registered voters as of February 17, 2012.
2. Voter Frequency Search – create your own:Walk lists
   Export & print lists for volunteers
   GPS using any internet-accessible  mobile device (more below)Mailing lists
   Choose the voter frequency to  target, the application households  the voters so you have a print  quantity as well as a final list to send  to the mailhouse.
3. Location-based door-to-door – select the voter frequency you want to target, allow the app to recognize your location, and start walking – no more shuffling between precinct maps!

• The Johnson County Republican Party used the VoteSharp™ application to credential about 7,000 voters at seven sites across Johnson County for the March 10 Republican Caucus. The feedback from volunteers and voters alike was phenomenal – they liked how easy it was to use and the ease with which voters could check in, vote, and get on with their day!

Campaign Paraphernalia
Yard Signs: it’s that time of year – traditional yard signs the “Gill #192” is a 7-business-day production sign, so order before you need them! If you order before the end of Veto Session, I can bring them to Topeka, saving you shipping fees!

Hand Fans and parade giveaways:

1. If you’re going to pass out candy, be sure your name’s on it so parents at least see your name before tossing the wrapper.
2. Kids love stickers and again, parents have to pull them off clothes before the wash… Anecdotally – round stickers are easier to peel than rectangles when you’re walking a parade.
3. I’m a big “fan” of the hand fan as a parade, festival, community theater, and just about any other kind of giveaway. People hold onto them and use them for years. Put your yard sign and the election date on it or…

Walk Cards: Have you considered using a hand fan as your walk card? They’re a lot less likely to be thrown away!

1. Pro-tip #1: Don’t spend the money on door-hanger cards – waste of money when you can just stick the card in the door or roll it up in the handle.
2. Pro-tip #2: Emphasize your yard sign design – consider having one entire side of your card be a longer version of your sign design – make sure that side of the card faces out the street when stuck in the door.
